Bristol Green Doors’ Solar Saturday will enable those thinking about these things to find out more by visiting homes with solar PV (electricity) or thermal (hot water) systems. It’s on June 11th.
There is a home opening in Montpelier showcasing both PV and soalr thermal systems. It is supported by local installer 1World Solar shown below celebrating with Dan on his rooftop last year. (It’s not Dan’s house that is opening).
During one hour sessions, which must be booked, Green Doors householders will share their experiences and demonstrate their systems. Those attending will learn about costs, space requirements, maintenance, metering, adaptation of existing systems and feed in tariffs and the renewable heat incentive.
