‘Make Your Home an Eco Home’
sign up for a new course at The CREATE Centre
Following Bristol Green Doors is a timely 6 week course entitled: ‘Make your home an eco home.’ This aims to demystify what it takes to start living more sustainably in your house.
Where Green Doors inspires, we hope to get people on the journey themselves! Book now – it starts on October 5th.
Six structured classes will demystify energy in an informative and logical approach ( energy, fabric, insulation, renewables, appliances and lifestyles!) through fun assignments (“ecohomework”) plus an interactive approach so personal values, goals, and constraints are explored fully. It is mainly aimed at homeowners who have more control over their home.
Taking place on Tuesday evenings from 5th October – 16th November at The Create Eco Home, Bristol, the course will look at the 3 key areas of building fabric, appliances and temporary measures, and habits and lifestyle.
“The course is designed to take a practical and interactive look at homewowners’ own needs and help them understand their home, the way they use it and how they manage it. That way renovation plans will fit their lifestyle and budget. We think the no-cost and low-cost savings we can advise on will be a great way to start the project. Then with the better understanding they have people will be ready to have a more useful discussion with professionals and installers. “
