Transition Montpelier and The Fairfield Neighbourhood and Community Group are jointly hosting a mix of fun, creative, tasty and sustainable activities at THE KEY STAGE 2 UNIT, opposite 26 Fairfield Road (not at Dan’s house as incorrectly detailed in the map’s directory). We will be on the ground floor and in the playground.
Get involved with Grid Art, recreating a masterpiece and reconstructing a Banksy to be displayed at the Health Centre
A Seedling Swap (fruit and veg especially encouraged) and an Art Exchange (bring your old framed pics and leave with something different!)
Kids can make jewellery and felt badges celebrating biodiversity. They could do a painting for the gallery or have their faces painted on Sunday
The weather on Saturday will be amazing (hot) so come down and enjoy Tea and Cakes and listen to some fine solar powered sounds in the afternoon (not Sunday as originally advertised).
