Things are cracking on nicely with planning the Fayre. 40 odd enquiries already about stalls, a lantern procession in the evening, and a variety of entertainment being confirmed. We want as many of the community involved in this event as possible, so what can you do?
Pre-event activities.
There are pre-event activities NEXT Saturday painting Bollards and Bins (10.30am onwards @ Picton Square outside Gallifords) and making lanterns for the parade ( Sat 12th Dec 2pm-5pm @ 3 Richmond Rd – blue garage) for the following weekend’s procession. Come and join us getting things ready and put a poster in your window (download it by clicking on it here or on the poster below).

Meetings
There have been planning meetings at 3 Richmond road on the last few Wednesdays. Thanks to all who have come. Minutes are available here of the last one. Volunteers Needed!
We need decorators, mulled wine servers, donation collecters, litter pickers and ‘safe adult’ scissor users! If you can pitch in, please let us know. Much of the Bean Feast’s great success was down to people putting a bit of their own time time into the event. Can you spare an hour or two on the day or before and help towards Montpelier’s Transition?
